Workshop Description:
In this workshop, Video Game Casting/Voice Director Kim Hurdon will explain what casting and dev teams are listening for in your gaming self-tape auditions. A mock self-tape audition using real gaming materials will be assigned prior, to be played for group analysis during the workshop, where you will be redirected live based on your submission. You’ll receive feedback, learn best practices and have discussion within a group setting, followed by Q&A.
Open to performers 18+.
Instructor Bio:
Kim Hurdon is a voice casting/director with over thirty years of experience under her belt, has appeared as a voice specialist on TV, radio and in print, and has been dubbed “The Queen Of Voice” by ACTRA.
She is the pre-eminent voice director for video games in Toronto and has worked on tons of franchises including: Star Wars Outlaws, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Warframe, Far Cry, a new online card game…
